Driving to your home again,
forgive me to the rain.
It's true that I willed and wished for you,
each night upon my bed.
Driving down your road again,
a winding road of green,
your face a distant memory,
an autumn leaf in spring.
'Twas a long time ago, in the time of the lorry low,
'Twas a long time ago, was a claw in the days of old.
Following the signs of you, as sparrows flock around,
I will always drink to you, when entering this town
Grievous angels laugh at you for leaving me to be,
I see your face in every blue-ish sky and road and sea

Fantastic album. Very reminiscent of 90s slowcore with an even more beautiful and dark edge. It's hard to find music like this nowadays but I'm very pleased to have found it. Jesse Mullen

Singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, Chelsea Wolfe’s plaintive voice is the centerpiece of all of these chillingly bleak tunes. Watery, sliding orchestration suits the misty and dark environment that she evokes throughout. Unflinchingly stark, the recording suitably ends with a storm. Nickie Harte Kelly
